• Creating a Gerber filet

• From the Layout Windows:

• click on the file tab and select: export…

• From the File type option select Gerber.…

• Select OK
• The following windows will appear.

• Click on the Translation settings
• The following windows will appear.

• On the Gerber Output Format Section. Select RS274X
• Click OK

• Click on the Translate section
• The following windows will appear. As above.
• Cond should be highlighted
• Click OK
• Cllose the MTOOLS log window.
• Click on View Gerber section.

• You should see your Layout as above. Great Excellent.
• Now you can close the Gerber viewer.

You will find in your ads working directory a File with the gbr extension ( filename.gbr) this is what is needed to fabricate your board.

You should test your file by using ViewMat Ver 9.4.73 from PentaLogix as shown below.
