18 and slide 19 should be corrected to indicate

Rule 1 was used ,in the first trial
assignment ,3+4 times . (The 4 is to indicate the
groupe of 4)
Rule 2 was used ,in
the second trial assignment , 2+4 times.
• Taking the state names like START, STATE1, ERRR, GOT101, or
whatever
they were conveniently called,
and changing them to bit patterns such as
0000, 0010, 1101, etc.
Usually we choose these states for
reliability and/or hardware minimization.
One-hot or one-cold machines should also be in here.
Maybe next year.
