Course and Laboratory Rules and Regulation

Rules They tells how to prepare labs, when they should be handed in, and all the other fine print that may strongly effect your mark.

Reports are late at 16:00 hrs one week after the day your lab was scheduled.
    After that they are marked out of 70%.
Reports over one week late but less than two weeks late, are marked out of 40%.
    Reports over two weeks late they are marked out of 25%.
    Reports over four weeks late are marked out of 5%

Prelab check must be done on your lab day.
     The prelab should be ready at 8:30. If it is not ready when the TA comes to check, the prelab marks are forfeited.
However it must be completed before you can continue the lab.

          Last day for handing in any late labs or assignments. This applies only with special permission for very exceptional circumstances. Others are subject to earlier course deadlines.

Labs are done in groups of two.

Labs count for 14% of your final mark.

All labs must be completed and a report submitted to pass the course.

All persons exempt from labs are required to submit all problems. Your average problem mark becomes your mark for the undone labs. Thus if you are exempt from all labs, your problems are (14+6)% of your total mark.
