Course and Laboratory Rules and Regulation

Rules They tells how to prepare labs, when they should be handed in, and all the other fine print that may strongly effect your mark. (rtf version)


    Highlights of some of the lab rules

Reports are late at 16:00 hrs one week after the day your lab was scheduled.
    After that they are marked out of 70%.
    Reports over one week late but less than two weeks late, are marked out of 40%.
    Reports over two weeks late they are marked out of 25%.
    Reports over four weeks late are marked out of 5%

Prelab check must be done on your lab day.
     The prelab should be ready at 8:30.  If it is not ready when the TA comes to check, the prelab marks are forfeited.
     However it must be completed before you can continue the lab.

Friday, April 9, 2008
          Last day for handing in any late labs or assignments. This applies only with special permission for very exceptional circumstances. Others are subject to earlier course deadlines.

Lab sheets for the theoretical part and the prelab. The software and hardware instructions, which contain more features of Xilinx ISE, the ModelSim digital simulator, and the Xilinx xcr3064xl CPLD (complex programmable logic device) are in Instructions for Xilinx ISE and ModelSim.
