Carleton's Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering program at Carleton University equips our students with the scientific foundation,hands-on skills, and design experience needed to master the state-of-the-art technologies required to build a smart future.  The program targets the development of a knowledge base to facilitate the design and implementation of smart devices and electronics from solar panels to cell phones. Graduates will learn how to design in technologies varying from nano-engineering, micro-electro-mechanical systems, biomedical/environmental sensors, wireless devices, high-speed/high-frequency electronics and solar-cells. During their studies our students will design, build and test the smart devices that can enable smart phones, smart vehicles, smart homes, smart power grids and more. Our graduates from Electrical Engineering are making a contributions to Society, as engineers, technology developers, educators, scientists, entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
