Email Services at Department of Electronics
PC
There are two ways to receive your email from a PC at DoE. POP is by default but we recommend that you upgrade to IMAP.
To use POP to access your email.
To use IMAP to access your email.
Unix
On Unix there are a variety of ways to read your email.
i. In any terminal run pine
ii. Of if you have loggin via a GUI and are using CDE click on the large Mailbox at the bottom of the screen.
Web Mail
There is web mail avaiable at the department
It is configure to use both IMAP and POP, you just have to pick the appropriate server.(If you only view your email on UNIX choose POP)
