Project
Proposal*
The project
proposal is the first written requirement of the fourth-year design project.
This proposal must outline what you're planning on doing, how you're planning
to do it, and why you're doing it. This report should be written so that it can
be understood by non-engineering types, such as a non-technical manager or
supervisor. It should contain an
introduction, objective, motivation, technical overview, and schedule. It is strongly suggested that you include a Gantt chart in your proposal to demonstrate a
professional way of planning and scheduling.
The
proposal must be submitted by the deadline.
Further
information can be found in the resource
section on proposals.

Student involved in joint projects with other Departments should consult their supervisor
as deadlines and dates may be different from those indicated here.
